When implementing a system in which students can freely choose to study, it is very important for a New Normal student to correctly calculate the time or workload to spend on learning. One way to improve the management of higher education is to manage the learning process based on optimizion of calculation time of a student on course-related activities. Curricula with too much content and high emphasis on each content lead to high student workload. When the workload is too much, the student to get the grade performs the tasks with a lot of memorization without understanding the meaning, copying without thinking, so they learn passively. The property-determined workload is one of the important factors affecting student learning, so it is necessary to optimize calculation student workload. The classical methods used for time series prediction like Box-Jenkins or ARIMA assumes that there is a linear relationship between inputs and outputs. Neural Networks have the advantage that can approximate nonlinear functions.

Optimizing a company’s asset and capital structure has a positive effect on reducing capital costs and increasing the use of assets. In this paper, we consider optimization problem of a company’s asset and capital structure. The proposed model is formulated as a fractional programming problem. The problem was solved numerically on “Matlab” using data of Mongolian mining companies. Numerical results are provided.

Mongolia is a landlocked country with huge mineral resources, and the main driver of economic development is the mining sector. According to the numerical data of the sectors that make up the GDP, the mining and extraction sector accounts for an average of 21% over the last 10 years. Mining product export covers 85 percent of our country's total exports, of which coal alone accounts for 40 percent. Although our country is among the top 10 coal exporting countries, it is the only country that exports coal by land transportation. As of 2019, a total of 36.5 million tons of coal was exported, 99 percent of which was exported to China. Gashuun Sukhait Port is a strategically important port, starting from the territory of Tsogt-tsetsii sum of Umnugobi province, passing through the Tsagaan-Khad settlement area of Khanbogd Sum, and crossing the border with a total distance of 239 km. The installed capacity of this road is 3,000-4,000 cars, but in 2019, a total of 18,000 cars are transporting coal on this route, which has a negative impact on transportation time, costs, and border crossing. In this study, Analogic 5.0 software was used to calculate the cost and overall economic benefits of changing the existing bulk coal transport to containerized transport to determine the appropriate shipping volume. "Predicting Corruption Criminology using Machine Learning Technics in case Mongolia", International Conference on Advances in Statistics, Turkey , 2021-10-17, vol. 7, pp. 51

Using data from the National Statistical Office of Mongolia, we use a machine learning algorithm to predict corruption in Mongolia between 2012 and 2014. We correctly identify more than 70 percent (slightly less than 80%) of the areas where corruption is on the rise (increased crime). The algorithm's hypothesis shows that the 2012 Mongolian Anti-Corruption Law can strengthen the ability to combat white market violations.

The paper deals with an application of survival theory in mineral processing industry. We consider the problem of maximizing copper recovery and determine the best operating conditions based on survival theory. The survival of the system reduces to a problem of maximizing a radius of a sphere inscribed into a polyhedral set de fined by the linear regression equations for a flotation process. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach, we present a case study for the rougher flotation process of copper-molybdenum ores performed at the Erdenet Mining Corporation(Mongolia).

Groundwater is the most important natural resource required for drinking to many people around the world, especially in rural areas. For 14th khoroo of Khan-Uul district of Ulaanbaatar is only one khoroo with a pronounced five species of livestock (horse, camel, cattle, sheep and goats) and agriculture plays important role in the region, faces an increasing rural population, a growing livestock and agriculture sector that increase in the demand for residential and agricultural water. This research was focused on evaluation of groundwater quality in that area, through physicochemical analysis with view to determining is suitability for drinking and irrigation purposes. During the sampling periods, a total of 51 groundwater samples were collected from 46 deep wells and 5 shallow wells of researchable area, between October and November 2019. The depths of the wells were varied from 22 to 102 m. Samples were analysed for complete physicochemical characterization of drinking water from groundwater sources in suburb of Ulaanbaatar.

"D.C. Constrained Optimization Approach for Solving Metal Recovery Processing Problem", Mathematical Optimization theory and Operations Research, Russia, 2020-7-6, vol. 2, pp. 110-114

This paper was motivated by an industrial optimization problem arisen at the Erdenet Mining Corporation (Mongolia). The problem involved real industrial data turned out to be a quadratically constrained quadratic programming problem, which we solve by applying the global search theory for general DC programming. According to the theory, first, we obtain an explicit DC representation of the nonconvex functions involved in the problem. Second, we perform a local search that takes into account the structure of the problem in question. Further, we construct procedures for escaping critical points provided by the local search method. In particular, we propose a new way of constructing an approximation of the level set based on conjugated vectors. The computational simulation demonstrates that the proposed method is a quite flexible tool which can fast provide operations staff with good solutions to achieve the best performance according to specific requirements.

A continuous-time stochastic pension fund model is proposed in which there are n risky assets plus the risk-free asset as well as randomness in the level of benefit out-go control of the future flows of contributions. A high proportion of stocks in the portfolio has the benefit of a lower mean contribution level, but at the price of a higher time variation of contribution flows. This paper models the trade-off in an inter-temporal framework and uses of stochastic control to obtain an optimal asset allocation-between a risky asset and a riskless asset- and the contribution policy. The solution in the case of a defined benefit scheme shows that the proportion of the risky asset and the level of contribution are both proportional to the difference between the maximum wealth necessary to fund all pensions, and the actual wealth of the pension fund. Illustrative simulations for France, US, Japan and Mongolia for various periods have been implemented.

Effective management of current asset management can increase profitability by reducing financial costs, although the amount of capital increases. It is necessary to finance working capital with as low interest rates as possible, having a working capital structure for mining companies can increase efficiency. Working capital performance provides critical insight into the state of a company’s financial position. As an important indicator of financial fitness, the availability of a company’s working capital is one of the first items a lender or savvy investor will examine on a balance sheet. Although working capital evokes a range of meanings, for the purpose of this study, it is defined as the net liquid assets (current assets minus current liabilities) available to an organization to meet liquidity needs in day to day operations.
